A Meal A Day Coalition
The A Meal a Day coalition began in 2011 with dinner served one night a week. Through a partnership with Life Church, the coalition grew to 2 nights a week. As word got out to the local community it eventually increased to 7 nights a week with more than 15 churches, groups and individuals participating. In 2013, the coalition moved to serving dinner on the streets until being invited to serve from The Salvation Army kitchen from 2015 to 2017. During that time the coalition began providing dinner for the Victorville warming shelter and continue to do so for the next 6 years.

In 2020, due to Covid 19, the A Meal A Day Coalition began hosting a monthly drive-thru food distribution through partnerships with High Desert 2nd Chance, Farmers to Families, Family Life Church, God's Hand Extended, US Bank, IEHP, Victor Valley Transit and other local nonprofits.

When the farmers to family's program ended the coalition began offering food baskets for pickup twice a month by appointment from Women of Noble Character's location.

The Covid Response Team was created temporarily in 2020 to bring Covid awareness to our local homeless community as well as providing ppe equipment for them. The team went out weekly to local homeless encampments to distribute hot meals, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, masks and more.
Fostering confidence, courage and educational, personal and spiritual growth.
