About The Store
Our store will feature handcrafted products created through our job training program. We
will also carry a wide variety of products from local artisans and makers including jewelry, books, cards, and more.
Our plan involves showcasing the talent of Teach Them to Fish participants by offering a curated selection of their skillfully crafted soaps, candles, and jewelry, supporting their creative journey and empowering their entrepreneurial spirit.
About the Job Training Program: Teach Them to Fish
The Teach Them To Fish co-op store will include an employment training program for individuals experiencing homelessness, individuals who have encountered barriers to employment, and individuals who wish to maintain a stable, productive place in their community.
Through operating the store, Teach Them to Fish participants will receive comprehensive training in customer service, sales, and management. Additionally, they will acquire valuable production skills through hands-on training in creating high-quality handcrafted goods.
